Reading Through Shadows for Younger Children

Whatever is good and perfect comes down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. - James 1:17 (NLT)

Children are curious and find enjoyment in the simplest things.  Shadows are one of those amusements.  Take advantage of that curiosity and teach them about shadows.  These books make an entertaining unit study for the whole family!

Look up Bible verses about shadows: Psalm 17:8, 23:4, 36:7, 91:1, Job 8:9, Luke 1:79, James 1:17 (these are just a few to get you started.  You also could read verses about light and darkness)
Look up shadow in Websters 1828 dictionary.
